Teenage Construction Zone School Information
Public School Version also available...
The Teenage Construction Zone book is also available for schools across America who want to share the book with students. This version steers clear of any religious content, does not include the Teenage Construction Zone Bible Study, yet still deals with the same topics.
Teenage Construction Zone is an incredible book that can be used for long term Positive Behavior Support or in any character education environment. It deals with morality, character, goal setting, choosing friends, relationship guidelines, drugs, alcohol, health, eating disorders, suicide, responsibility, and much more.
Many school libraries are now carrying the books as a resource for students. Mention to your librarian that you would like for them to carry a copy.
Some schools are even using the book as part of their Accelerated Reading program. Students can pick the book as one that they would like to read and be tested on it later.

If you would like to get a copy of Teenage Construction Zone in the hands of everyone in your school, we suggest checking on character education grants offered by your state or Federal Government (there are also some resources are listed at the bottom of this page). Due to the extensive subject matter of the book, funds allocated for drug and alcohol awareness, tobacco education, health education, and abstinence education can also be used for purchasing this book. This money is free to the school. All the school has to do is simply apply for these grants. With a little work from your school’s teachers or administrators you will be on your way to helping every student in your school!
Local foundations have also been more than willing to help out with contributing funds for the purchase of Teenage Construction Zone for the students. Local foundations are very interested in ways that they can donate money to make a difference in the lives of people in their area.
Parent/Teacher Associations (PTA’s) are also a group that might be interested in raising money to help get the books to the students.
These are just some ideas for getting books that have worked, but feel free to be creative with your fundraising. It will be a little work, but it will be worth it!
